Rick (Twin) Matthews:  

Raised in the Bronx, and Jamaica, Queens, New York. My twin brother and I attended P.S. 138 and I.S. 131 in the Bronx. When we moved to Queens, where we attended I.S. 192 and then Andrew Jackson. In 1979, we also attended school in Norristown, PA. This was a very eventful, and unforgettable year. This era of our lives really reshaped our thinking!! Following high school, I joined the U.S. Navy. In 1981 I was assigned to boot camp in Great Lakes, IL.. I then joined my twin on board the U.S.S. Nimitz. I know... "brothers aren't allowed to be stationed on the same ship," well, we worked it out. I have to admit it was very clever of us to come up with this plan. We weren't sure if it would work or not... obviously it did! We travelled together and hung out in places like Egypt, Israel, Italy (north and south), France (all over), Spain (Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca), and more... I attended (accredited) classes on my ship and on-base while in the military, and made sure to continue my studies when my active and reserve obligations expired. My undergraduate and graduate studies were completed at: * Five Towns College (A.A. Music Business) * American InterContinental University (Bachelor of Business Admin.) * American InterContinental University (Master of Business Admin.) I am still playing music! I've done some recording and live shows. I miss my "music" friends in New York... Kirk, Chris, Keith, Lonnie, Caleb, Mike, Bernard, Lionel, Eddie, Keith, Wink, Steve, Kev, Terry, Kym, Julio, etc. I was married in 1983.
